Where Is Kathy Sue Wilcox?

Almost forty-three years ago, sixteen year old Kathy Sue Wilcox walked out of her family home in Michigan and never came back. She was billed as a "runaway" in a day and age when "runaways" were not taken too seriously, but she was never seen again. No one ever found out what happened to her.

We begin with the Page of Wands, reversed, crossed by the seven of pentacles, which is also read reversed. This is bad news, brought on by indecision and lack of progress in the investigation. An initial impression I get is that there is something that could have been discovered years ago, but wasn't, because the proper effort was not made.

Beneath this, we get the seven of swords, reversed. Sadly, it looks as if Kathy planned to leave home, for a bit. This is followed by the nine of swords, which is the expected worry and pain felt by her family. Above this, detailing the best possible outcome, we have the three of pentacles, which is the card of the tradesman. This tells me that there IS something that can be done, professionally, to locate Kathy. Unexpectedly, the six of wands follows, telling us that the case actually WILL be solved one day. The six of wands is generally good news, but it tells us to wait for "science to give us an answer". The Knight of Cups appears in the middle of the investigation.......he is upside right, so we must assume that he is kindly disposed toward Kathy. From him, we can expect well thought out ideas and propositions that will actually work. He is an adult, but not as old as most of the people who remember Kathy in Michigan. He either knows something substantial and can help the investigation, or knows how to put together clues in order to find Kathy. Next, we have the six of swords, reversed, describing the environment of the situation. This bothers me a bit, because it screams "standstill!" What is standing still? The investigation? Kathy, herself? This is really the only truly morbid detail in this reading.

Next, in the place of desires, we have the Sun. This tells us that no one who is involved, right now, in the search for Kathy and the investigation played a role in her disappearance. This is good; sometimes guilty parties pretend to search for missing people, in order to throw off police and investigators. Also, this card is telling us that somehow, pleasure in things like gardening, farming, and homesteading play a role in finding Kathy. The final card is the ten of cups, which almost never comes up to describe the lot of a missing person. This card is the definition of happiness, happy marriage, good family life, and soul completion. It is not what I expected. Perhaps Kathy is alive and well. I think it is a possibility. If she is not, she will be found, and her disappearance will be explained.

For clues to Kathy's whereabouts, both cards that usually tell us about location in a Celtic Cross reading about a missing person are "six" cards; the six of wands, and the reversed six of swords. Perhaps the message is "six through the forest, stop at the water." The two "sevens" also give us some clues. The seven of pentacles is often called the card of the farmer, because of its association with crops, trees, and waiting for fruit or crops to ripen. Perhaps there is a clue, therein. And the reversed seven of swords is simply careful planning.....Kathy had every intention of running away. Ultimately, south and west appear to be key directions.

The contact information for this case is in the poster above. Please; if anyone has personal knowledge of Kathy Sue Wilcox, call one of the numbers.

Who Killed Dusty Shuck?

Dusty Schuck, a twenty-four year old New Mexico woman, was found murdered alongside the road near Mt. Airy, Maryland on May 4, 2006. The last reported time she was seen by her family had been in New Mexico, a couple of weeks earlier. The crime remains unsolved, and police have very little in the way of evidence. Someone suggested to me that I see if the Tarot can shed any light on her case.

So who killed Dusty Shuck and why? We begin with the Wheel of Fortune, which is an unexpected stroke of luck, crossed by Judgement, which is a re-awakening of sorts, or a realization about something important. Beneath this is the Hanged Man, which is an opportunity that Dusty had suspended in the past, but was looking forward to "un-suspending". Next, we see the Queen of Wands, who is an energetic and creative woman. She is in Dusty's past, and is someone Dusty knew, and had some concerns about her.

The five of cups, reversed, tells us a little about that for which Dusty was searching. She either thought she had made a new friend somewhere, or thought that there was an old friend or relationship that held a reason for her to connect. Next, we find the ten of wands, relating back to the Queen of Wands, to show management of Dusty's affairs. This card often appears to show an unhappy, or premature ending.

The first card on the staff is Strength, reversed. This show domination and abuse of power. Whoever killed Dusty had a certain amount of power, and comfortable about misusing it. Next is the Fool, which tells us that while the choice to commit murder, or to put oneself in such a vulnerable spot as to be murdered, is obviously faulty, there was an air of "business as usual", and "this is nothing new" about this murder. In the place of hopes, we have the Devil, reversed. Dusty was killed by someone who actually thought it was "okey-dokey" to kill! All the cards that describe the killer are from the major arcana, which hint that the killer had some sort of importance in his community; and they also seem to be describing a male killer. Last, we have the Page of Wands, reversed, which is either a bearer of bad news, or bad news, itself. Its inclusion in the reading, along with Strength, reversed, causes me to wonder if Dusty was killed by a police officer, or someone else who had some sort of civic authority.

Anyone with any information about how Dusty Shuck was murdered or how she ended up in Maryland should call the Maryland State Police at 301-739-2101.

Brandon Victor Swanson

Brandon Victor Swanson disappeared after leaving the home of a friend in Marshall, Minnesota. His car was found near Taunton, Minnesota. After experiencing car problems, he spoke briefly with his father via cell phone, which is how his car was located, but no one can find Brandon. Someone asked me if I would do a reading for him, so I will give it my best.

This reading begins with the Knight of Cups, reversed, crossed by the two of pentacles, which is also read reversed, here. When the Knight of Cups falls reversed, there is always trickery involved, as this is usually an untrustworthy man in his early twenties. His presence is followed up by the reversed two of pentacles, which points to forced, or simulated calm. At face value, it looks as if Brandon was carjacked and told to tell his father he was okay, when he really wasn't. But let's look further.

Another court card appears to lend some background information; the King of Pentacles, reversed. This would be a man who is older than the Knight of Cups, and I would expect him to have darker hair than the Knight of Cups and a darker complexion. He falls reversed here, and since his suit is pentacles, this points to a man who misuses his assets and, possibly, gambles. So we have two unknown people who might know what happened to Brandon.

The next card is also a court card; it is the King of Cups. As this card falls upside right, meaning that he is friend, not foe; I am inclined to identify him as Brandon's father. He is the last known person to have spoken with Brandon. This is followed by the Page of Pentacles, reversed. This leads me to believe that Brandon did not simply "disappear"; there was foul play involved. This page heralds bad news, and often theft, when reversed. Temperance comes up next; reiterating the message of competing interests and bad combinations. I would also venture a guess that Brandon either saw or heard something that could have compromised one or both of the men, the knight and the king.

The first card on the staff, describing problems connected to finding Brandon, is the seven of wands. This card tells of things that are guarded; secrets, homes, property, the like. The message here is that Brandon has not been found because he is either on private property, or somewhere bordering private property. Someone has deliberately impeded the search. The next card, showing environment, is Justice. This shows us that law enforcement still has an interest in finding Brandon, and if outworn ideas are scrapped in favor of trying new, Brandon can and will be found. It is quite likely that this will involve a search warrant, however. This is followed by the six of swords, which is a card of travel. The six of swords has appeared in the place of desires, and is a wish on the part of someone involved. The nine of pentacles is the last card, and it is a card of solitary enjoyment of property. This supports what we have seen in the seven of wands, by which we were told that private property and the need for a search warrant is pertinent. It is also a suggestion to look near or in a garden or flowerbed, or a small vegetable garden, near a house.

The pentacles and cups in this reading take us north and west, as directions. Fourteen is the number of the Temperance card; that is a likely number miles that should be covered. I found myself drawn to the small sun on the Temperance card; "sun" may be an actual, physical symbol here, such as part of the name of road or a place. Perhaps the name of a town that is somehow sun-related, or the name of a business. Somehow, this symbol is meant to give us a clue.

I always wish I had better news when I do a reading like this one. I will keep hoping for the best.

What Happened To Jeremy Coots?

Four year old Jeremy Coots wandered away from his babysitter's home in Atchison, Kansas,in 1977. After no one was able to find him, it was presumed that he fell into the Missouri River. He is presumed dead, but he has never been found. Perhaps the Tarot can shed some light.

We begin with the Knight of Cups, crossed by the eight of cups. This is a happy young man, on a mission of friendship or even love, but as the eight of cups suggests, he suddenly abandoned this activity for some reason. I do not believe he is Jeremy; but I do think he is someone with whom Jeremy may have crossed paths that day. Beneath this, we find the King of Swords, reversed. This time, I do not think the king's presence refers to another person, but to a situation, this situation being fear. This king often represents law enforcement, or law in general; and here, I think he is telling us about fear of the same, or fear of lawsuits. Somehow, that veneer colors this situation.

The four of pentacles follows this, heralding obstacles and setbacks in financial matters. Once more, this is in relation to the Knight of Cups, rather than Jeremy. Crowning it, we have the nine of cups, reversed. It tells of mistakes, possibly too much drinking. Then we have the nine of wands. A waiting game was played by someone, followed up by deliberate but discreet defensiveness.

In the place of fears, we have the nine of swords, reversed. This is a fear of not only a lawsuit, but of prison. The general environment gives us the Queen of Pentacles, reversed. This is a female presence, and as she falls reversed, her contribution to Jeremy's disappearance was a negative one. The sun comes up, reversed, in the place of hopes. This is a hope on someone's part that this whole matter stays clouded. The last card is the five of cups. This is a sad card to see in this position; it foretells recovery, but it is still a card of loss. The five of cups is also symbolic of water, often of shallow rivers or creeks. The Queen of Pentacles is associated with earth, however. The Knight of Cups, in fact all knights, often symbolize matters coming or going in the Tarot. On mundane levels, knights are sometimes people traveling or people driving. My first thought when I saw the basis, with the knight crossed by the eight of cups, was that Jeremy had wandered away and gotten hit by a car. If not, a car was definitely involved, somehow. Water is also involved. The wands point us south, perhaps nine miles, as tentatively suggested by the nine of wands. I would also look for evidence outside, as suggested by the Sun. I always hope to find that I am wrong when the interpretation of a reading comes to me this way. I hope Jeremy Coots is found soon.

How Will Susan Cox Powell Be Found?

Missing five years, and the main witnesses deceased, along with the main suspect.....how will Susan Cox Powell be found? At the request of a reader, I put the question to the Tarot.

This reading starts with the five of swords, a card of violence and revenge, crossed by the King of Cups. Already, this is a strange message! The swords, while telling us of violence, also point us to the east. Beneath this, we have the ace of swords, which is either a valid piece of information or an effort in a valid direction that made in the past. The suggestion of the Tarot is have a second look at that lead. The Star also comes up in the past; this is inspiration. There has already been some good detective work done on this case, in fact, to my surprise, the biggest problem appears to be a female contributor! The Queen of Wands appears reversed, at apparent cross purposes with the King of Cups, being a bit stingy with resources to look for Susan and with an air of resentment toward the King of Cups. It looks like infighting among major players involved in the investigation, and somehow, the conflict has derailed them from working together and examining the information they have. The king is open to looking at unconventional methods to solve this case, and the queen wants to dominate and attempt to coerce others into cooperating. If the Star were to be a location, it would be a place with clear water, possibly with two small streams flowing into it. It's numeric value is seventeen.

The next card, depicting the near future, is the Page of Wands. This is a message of some sort, and as wands represent fire, this message or tip "heats the investigation up". This is followed by the four of swords, reversed, in the place of fears. The four of swords upright is a card of rest, reversed it is a card of renewed action; because it has come up the in place of fears, I will have to say that even though the main suspect in this missing persons case is deceased, there is still someone lurking, somewhere, who is afraid of any positive direction this case may take, and of Susan being found. The ten of cups appears in the place of environment......while this card is usually a wonderful card to see in a reading, it is a bit misleading here. The person who does not want the case to become active again is hiding something; the ten of cups speaks of an idyllic family life and a great home, but in this position, it is false. The card is telling us that someone is going to great lengths to hide a grim secret, and this card describes the person's facade. Also, the connection might be familial in some way. The three of swords appears in the place of hopes: once again, this is a hope of keeping conflict and dissension going so that no one will focus on the evidence. The final outcome is the ace of cups, telling us that there WILL be a resolution to this case, eventually. The ace of cups, like the Star, depicts water. Something that got my attention on the Star is a small tree on the Ryder-Waite Tarot deck that has a bird roosting in it. We see the bird again in the ace of cups........I do not know if this is significant, but it got my attention.

It looks, from this reading, like the tips and information already gathered need to be reviewed, and like one avenue in particular provided a good direction, but was not explored enough.

Will The Arrest Solve The McStay Murders?

In light of the recent arrest of Chase Merritt for the murders of Joseph, Summer, Gianni, and Joseph McStay, who were missing for over four years before they were found in shallow graves in the Mohave Desert, I decided to do a reading to find out we will get any answers through this development.

We begin with a base of the ace of wands crossed by the Knight of  Swords. This is almost classic symbolism for a new piece of information, or a tip, being put into the hands of law enforcement. Policemen are often represented by court cards in the suit of swords. Below this, we have the Page of Wands, which is also often a message, backing this up. The Page can also be a person with information, but this person would be a witness, not a defendant or anyone involved in the investigation. The Fool appears, as the reason the tip was investigated, and also suggests that someone went "out on a limb" to investigate a lead that seemed dubious, or not provable at first.

The Emperor appears as a possible motivation for the arrest, and I suppose that is a pretty straightforward message: it stands to reason that Joseph McStay's father would want the case solved as soon as possible. Perhaps he is the one who did some of the sleuthing, or discovered something in his son's possessions or records that required further investigation. This is followed by the High Priestess, reversed, in the place of things that will come to pass. I do not like this card here, because it tells us of surface knowledge, or half truths; not the revealing of the entire truth. A challenge for law enforcement and prosecutors will be a temptation to accept only part of the whole story, rather than digging deeper.

The first card on the staff is the three of swords, telling us that there has already been a bit of "infighting" between individuals close to this matter. Testimony from the person who was arrested may bring on more debate, and it will become even more personal than it already is. This is followed by the four of swords, reversed, which is a sense of urgency on the parts of family to get the whole matter over with, and the case closed. In the place of desires, we have a card that seems very much out of place, and that is the Moon. This is not a desire for closure, but a desire to keep hiding something, or misrepresenting something. Combined with the reversed High Priestess, this does not bode well for the arrest of Chase Merritt, in and of itself, solving this case. The last card is the three of wands, indicating that we are looking for more than one individual to stand trial for this crime. Ultimately, we will eventually get that information, but it will not be easy on the survivors of the deceased, and getting the truth from any witnesses or witnesses after the fact will be difficult.

Honing In On Brian Patrick Miller

The question of how to find Brian Miller was posed to me, and he still has not been found, seen or heard from, so I will put this question to the Tarot, and see if any new ideas result.

We start with Temperance, crossed by the four of pentacles in answer to the question of how Brian can be found. So it looks like we have the beginnings of a good mixture of investigative skills suddenly shut down, via information being withheld, for some reason. Beneath this is the ten of wands, reversed, which bespeaks duplicity. But is this on the part of law enforcement or a witness? The next card is the ace of pentacles. Somehow, this seems like a lead or a tip, when it appears in relation to this question. As a location, it refers to earth, and possibly a small flower garden.

A distinct possibility here is described by the eight of pentacles, reversed, which tells me that we are looking at an unethical use of skills somewhere in the investigation, so that helps to answer the question concerning who would withhold information. This is followed by the seven of cups, which is delusions of grandeur, or lots of discussion about unrealistic possibilities. So a definite problem exists in the investigation.

The Knight of Pentacles appears in the place of fears. There is some perceived reason for someone to be afraid of Brian being found. In the place of environment, we have the High Priestess, reversed, which is feminine influence and superficiality. Somewhere, connected to this case, is a woman who delivers half truths and gets away with evasiveness with law enforcement. Not enough is known about her connection to Brian's case to force her to testify. Also, as a location, the seven of cups and the High Priestess would indicate water. I would say water, pillars, palm trees, and perhaps a statue. The three of cups appears as a desire, which is obviously the desire to find Brian and have a happy ending to this story. It is also another water card, but this time, it's mundane location description is, once again, of a garden; possibly at an estate or a house where lavish parties have been thrown. The last card here is the Queen of Swords, letting us know that in order to cut to the chase, a court order will be required. This Queen represents legal or judicial authority; she may be a prosecutor or a judge. It may be a good idea to write a letter to whoever oversees the agency responsible for the investigation, or for Brian's family to contact their state representative, and get the ball rolling that way.

Where Is Morgan Martin?

Someone asked me for an update to the missing persons case of Morgan Keyanna Martin, who disappeared in Florida. She was five months pregnant, and only expected to be outside for a couple of minutes. It's been over two years since anyone has seen her.

My update dealt primarily with the question of where Morgan is now. The first three cards, representing the past, are the Sun, the King of swords, and Temperance. This describes Morgan's ideas before she went missing. The Sun tells of success and happiness, Temperance is careful combinations, and the King of Swords is an older male thrown into the situation. I believe the Sun is Morgan's pregnancy, and Temperance represents her new considerations for her health and her future. The King is a man who bore some sort of influence on matters.

The next three cards are the Knight of Pentacles, the eight of pentacles, reversed, and The Last Judgment. The Knight of Pentacles is a young man closer to Morgan's age, possibly the father of her child. I would expect him to have an olive to dark complexion, and brown eyes. The eight of pentacles reversed tells us that the Knight had some problems related to employment, in that he was not particularly gifted in his chosen field, but as the card appears in a reading about Morgan, we may safely assume that there was some blame of her, on his part, for this. He was wrong, but perhaps sincerely wrong. The Last Judgment has come up in readings for Morgan in the past, and we see it again. This is a card of renewal, but as a physical location, it speaks of recovery from water. Lakes, bays, and rivers deep enough for sailing.

The last three cards, representing the future, are the three of pentacles, Strength, reversed, and the eight of swords. The three of pentacles refers almost directly to the Knight of Pentacles, who came up earlier. Apparently, circumstances have calmed a bit, in his life. When Strength appears reversed, it tells of abuses of power, and the King of Swords we saw earlier is often a powerful person. As he is older than the Knight of Pentacles and Morgan, he may have had more sway in the course of events, leading to Morgan's disappearance, than anyone else involved. I do not like to see him combined with any card that speaks of abuses of power. The last card, which is the most troubling, is the eight of swords, which in many decks, depicts a maiden trapped in water, surrounded by eight swords. As the card is upright, I take it to mean that Morgan is trapped somewhere. As a location, it also tells of water. Eight, curiously, is also the numeric value of Strength. Somehow, this number fits in....eight deep, eight to the west, ect. The gist of the message and the cards containing the most pertinent clues do not seem to have changed; water, two men, and ulterior motives playing a role. I wish the reading had delivered happier news.

August Reiger

Just over a year ago, in June of 2013, a young man named August Reiger, from Oklahoma, was visiting Ecuador with his family. While they were hiking, he got ahead of them, and that was the last time they saw him. I had not heard about this case until recently, when someone asked me, in a comment under another reading, if I would do a reading for him.

The reading starts with the seven of cups crossed by the Lovers. Here we have a number of possible ideas and pursuits, and one choice. The Lovers often represents a relationship, but also important choices. Here, it's message has to do with choosing between unexplored and unknown possibilities. Both cards, curiously, relate to water.

Beneath this is another watery card, the Moon. This tells of secrets, deliberate deception, bad luck, and possibly stalkers and secret enemies. Many Tarot decks also portray a wolf and a dog on this card, and my eyes were drawn to them, here. The wolf is the canine in his wildness and glory; the dog is the canine's development after living with Mankind. I believe the suggestion here is twofold: use resources that are both conventional and unconventional to search, and on the mundane level, use search and rescue dogs! The moon is also led by intuition.

The next card describing the past is the nine of wands. This card's general meaning has to do with waiting and patience, sometimes the lack thereof. Because August was hiking when he disappeared, I think there is a practical message here about branches and possibly tripping or falling in or among trees or branches. The next card is a bit disturbing; the seven of wands. This tells me that private property, or some bit of acreage that was perceived as private property, or someone's "territory", somehow became part of this picture. Next, we find the Page of Swords, reversed. Reversed or upright, this card often tells of spying and gathering information. It would appear that information is involved, and that perhaps, by accident, August saw something or someone that others had intended to keep hidden. Reversal of this card refers to unforeseen events, and I think August's presence was a surprise to someone.

The first card on the staff is the two of wands. As a situation, it tells of help in specific pursuits, and as a place, it describes a large house, or a manor. The owner of this "manor" does not see himself as subject to any local laws. The five of cups follows, in the place of environment. Disappointment is indicated here, yet not without hope of partial resolution. We also have the reference to water on this card, and a large house or a "manor" in the background. The next card deals strictly with hopes, and it is the ten of cups. This is a card of familial bliss, and it is the hope of those who are searching for August. The last card is the one I really hate to see in readings about missing persons, and that is the ten of swords. It is a violent card, and often tells of endings. Aside from the water references, that is the only card here that suggests that we may not have a happy ending here. I sincerely hope I am wrong. It appears that August is on private property near a river or some other body of water. I hope he is home soon.

Anthony Patrick Sinisgalli

Anthony Patrick Sinisgalli disappeared in August of 1987. He left his car at a rest stop in Kansas, with his belongings left inside. No one has seen him or heard from him since. I will ask the Tarot what happened to him, and ask about his current whereabouts.

The reading begins with the Page of cups crossed by Temperance. What an unusual message! The Page of Cups is usually a young person, but sometimes it can be a message of a birth, or a new idea. This is crossed by Temperance, which indicates careful planning, or "tempering" of a plan or idea. Beneath this is the nine of cups, indicating that Anthony's home life was satisfactory, and that he lacked nothing material. But behind him, we find the eight of wands, reversed, which tells of jealousy and disputes, often romantic. A woman whose life was involved at the time is described by the Queen of Cups; she is creative and sensitive, usually a good mother. I would expect her to have been in her twenties at the time Anthony disappeared. The next card is Strength, reversed. This is a very blunt message about a lack of courage on someone's part: facing someone and explaining the truth, or one's actions was found to be extremely difficult by someone involved in Anthony's case. It was very possibly Anthony.

The King of Wands appears in the place of self image and self perception. This king is usually married and is a good husband and father. This is Anthony's perception of himself, and is also how others see him. The next card, describing environment, is the ace of pentacles. This is a very unusual card to appear in a missing person's reading, as it describes a lucrative opportunity. Nonetheless, I must call it as I read it, and the card is here! The next card, in the place of hopes, is the Emperor. This is Anthony's hope: that he was and is a good father. Could a mistress and an unplanned pregnancy have been part of this picture? Investigators need to consider it!

The last card, describing the final outcome, is the Magician. He represents planned changes done with skill in a reading; he also represents skilled and professional assistance. This ties in with Temperance in the beginning of the reading....careful and moderate planning. It also suggests very strongly that Anthony had help "disappearing", and that he may have done so intentionally. Something I do not see in this reading is violence, which is interesting. Hopefully, anyone who did not get the appropriate closure will hear the explanation necessary, one day.

How Can The Skelton Boys Be Found?

Andrew, Alexander, and Tanner Skelton were last seen with their father before Thanksgiving of 2010. A reading I did for them earlier told us in no uncertain terms that deceit was a factor, and the father has not cooperated in locating them. Someone recently asked me if I would update the reading, since we just passed the third anniversary of their disappearance.

The best question I could think of is pretty simple: how can these boys be found? The first two cards we get are the Devil, reversed, crossed by the three of cups. This speaks of a violent or untimely end to something that was not violent or malicious. At the base is the six of swords, reversed. As this card indicates travel in it's upright position, it tells us, as it has fallen reversed here, that the boys never got terribly far from their father's home, and that there has not been a lot of movement in the case in a long time. This is followed by the Knight of pentacles, reversed. He is a man who is inclined, when reversed, to be unproductive and unreliable. He also deliberately slows things down; he is purposefully impeding this investigation. Earth is the element of pentacles, and that should not be overlooked either. Earth plays a role.

The five of wands, reversed, comes up next, in the place of possibilities. When this card falls reversed, I always expect to see contradictions and dishonesty, and this fits right in with the reversed Knight of Pentacles. His contributions to this have been, up to this point, games. Next, we have the seven of swords, reversed. Upright, this card is a card of wrongful taking, and inability to complete the wrongful taking, or taking on a task that is not fitted to the taker, and cannot be completed for that reason. Reversed, it means refers to good directions or good legal counsel. As we find it in the place of things that will come, in the future, we can be hopeful that someone will find better information soon.

In the place of fears, we find the Wheel of Fortune. Whoever took the boys feels quite lucky at having gotton away with it, so far. Environment is represented by the Lovers, reversed. This is a strange card for an environment of three missing boys; but I think it has more to do with the perpetrator that it does with them. The card seems to be describing a location connected to lovers' quarrels and disputes within a relationship important to the perpetrator. Perhaps a place that was used to just sit and think, after a serious argument. The King of Swords appears in the place of hopes, and as court cards in the suit of swords are often law enforcement, lawyers, or judges, I believe this is a member of law enforcement trying to find the boys. The reading ends with the Hierophant, reversed. The boys will be found by using unconventional methods, or by taking an unconventional tip or idea seriously.

Update For Kate Phillips

Katherine Phillips disappeared over a year and a half ago, and while her biological father is still in jail over this, Katherine has never been found. There were a couple of requests for an update.

I drew three cards for the past, which are the four of pentacles, reversed; the nine of swords, reversed; and the ten of cups. The four of pentacles reversed tells us about the wasting of resources instead of prudence in the area of paying bills. Clearly, someone involved in the situation with Katherine did not want to grow up and learn to budget money. Next, we have the nine of swords, reversed, which is worry, followed by the ten of cups, which, I believe, is Katherine's birth. While the birth was definately a happy event, and Katherine was very wanted, her presence caused worry for at least one party. But......everyone following this case already knew this much!

The next three cards are the four of wands, reversed;the ace of cups, and the four of swords, reversed. Four is a number that represents Family in Taosim, and in my opinion, the presence of these two fours in Katherine's reading screams "family"! Upright, the four of wands tells of happy family events, weddings, or parties, and reversed it often tells the same story, but sometimes as clouded, or imperfect happiness. The ace of cups refers, once again, to birth and happy news. The four of swords reversed is sudden activity after dormance. So.....the disappearance was planned, somewhat, and "sprung" on someone who did not suspect.

Finally, we have the seven of cups, reversed, representing the use of will and reason....we can safely assume that responsible party was not "insane". This is followed by the four of cups, also reversed. Another "four"......this one referring to new relationships and communications. Still a reference to "family"........I think the baby is somewhere near the biodad's last residence. All of the cups in this reading also speak of water, as water is the element that relates to cups, and point west. I do not think this baby ended up very far to the west, though. The final card is the Wheel of Fortune, which tells me that when Katherine is found, it will be by lucky chance. Ten is the value of the Wheel of fortune; perhaps that is a number of importance here.....could it corrospond to the ten of cups? Tenth Road? Ten feet? Ten ponds? Water is undoubtedly part of this picture now, whether is was when Katherine first disappeared or not. She is also not far from the home of someone in her family.

Robin Pope

Robin Pope was last seen in Maryland on March 1 of this year. So far, a few clues have been found, but no one has heard from Robin.

So what happened to Robin Pope and where is she? The reading begins with the six of swords, reversed, crossed by the seven of wands. The six of swords usually involves travel when it is upright, but reversed, it means quite the opposite. But water is somehow still part of the picture, just not travel over it or through it. The seven of wands is all about guarded knowledge or guarded property. I am going to venture a guess that about six to ten feet of water on private property, where law enforcement would need a warrent to search, is an important part of this picture.

As a foundation for this event, we have the three of swords, reversed. This tells of romantic and marital break-ups, and of difficulty in reaching agreements when rifts have taken place. This is an event that served as a cause of Robin's disappearance. The next card shows us the Knight of Swords attempting to disappear into the past. This is often a card of violence, either an event or a person, and here I would say he represents both. As a person, he would be a middle aged male who is capable of violence and has a motive for the same. Possibly blue eyes and light brown or greying hair. A possible future connection this man may seek out is the King of Pentacles, reversed. This is an older man, who is focused on money. As he falls reversed, do not expect him to be honest or have Robin's best interest at heart. Another future omen is the eight of swords. This fortells difficulty locating Robin, and tells us that wherever Robin is, she is trapped. The message here is similar, in this case, to what we saw in the reversed six of swords........non-movement and a few feet of water. I hope that I am wrong. Another possible message here is that the case gets stalled for awhile, for some reason.

The person who knows where Robin is would like to avoid the discovery of evidence by young people hunting or playing, and finding evidence by accident. The Page of Wands appears in the place of his fears, and he is already worried about young people, or, for some reason, children, divulging and announcing his secrets. Strength reversed appears in the place of environment, telling us that abuse of power has also played a role in this situation. Either someone in a position of authority has dropped the ball and refused to bring Robin home and have this perpetrator charged, or the person on whose property the evidence, or Robin herself, is hidden knows exactly what is going on and refuses to allow anyone to search. In the place of hopes, we find the Chariot, reversed. This is a card of voided projects and sometimes, unthical victories. Also, there is a message here that is similar to the reversed six of swords and the eight of swords; by this perpetrator's design, Robin has not been found. The final outcome here is Temperance, which is a good card. It points to workable and productive combinations, so we can expect forensic evidence, the mundane and physical meaning of this card here, and law enforcement, the "people" part of the mix, to work together and solve this case.

Sabrina Aisenberg

Sabrina Aisenburg disappared in Florida in 1997. She was only five months old, and while her parents have since moved to Maryland, no clues to her whereabouts have ever been found.

The basis appears as the six of pentacles crossed by the two of swords. This gives an atmosphere of working for a wage and sharing financial resources while wondering which direction to turn in life. A truce in an ongoing conflict about how money should be spent or invested. At the foundation, we have the ten of cups, telling us that at one time, the Aisenbergs were reasonably happy, as a family. The Hanged Man also appears in the past, and he tells us that at a certain point in time, this happiness ended with the abandonment of spiritual interests in favor of selfish pursuits. Possibly, this ties in with conflicts about how money was spent. Crowning this, we have the Fool, which represents chances that were never taken, and opportunities upon which were never acted. What could all of this have possibly had to do with Sabrina? The next card is the Sun, reversed. This refers to a possible broken engagement, or a voided contract.

Looking more closely at this mix of cards, it would almost appear as if the reversed Sun was actually telling us that there as been a "cloud cover" placed over events that have somehow been swept under the rug. The ten of cups also speaks of water, as does the Hanged Man. The cards would almost appear to describe an accident involving water. Nonetheless, I do not see violence, or deliberate malice here.

The first card on the staff is the Queen of Wands. She is in the place of environment as per the emotions and fears. Her imput into the situation has been key to the movement, or lack thereof, in this case. Next, we see the World, in the place of environment as dictated by actual events, and this represents travel........on the part of the Queen of Wands, not Sabrina. In the place of hopes or fears, we have the nine of wands, which speaks of defensiveness and a very prepared state in case of an attack of some sort. The final card is the King of Wands, correlating directly to the Queen of Wands. He is an adult male connected to the situation, and all future movement in the case depends upon him.

Richard "Cody" Haynes

When Richard Cody Haynes disappeared from his home in Washington, he was eleven years old, so the picture on the right is age progressed. Anyone with direct knowledge of his whereabouts should contact the FBI.

We start with the four of cups, reversed, crossed by the seven of pentacles. The four of cups, when reversed, speaks of new relationships. The seven of pentacles is the card of the Farmer. It tells of hard work, leading to eventual harvest, and sometimes of barter. Was farming ever a part of Cody's life?

Beneath this is the ten of pentacles, which is a card of financial gifts and inheritances that are not necessarily earned, per se. Material property, or collateral, was, in some way, a part of this situation. A problem that faced someone involved is the six of swords, reversed. A problem was perceived, and it was also perceived that there was no solution. Cody's disappearance was an attempt, as we see in the Tower, reversed, crowning this, to overthrow something, or to completely change some sanction involving property or money. The next card is the King of Pentacles, reversed. This is a man who was involved. He is dishonest and cares nothing about Cody.

The first card on the staff is the nine of wands, which tells us that this king we saw earlier had patiently planned this, and has recourses to defend himself. In the place of environment, we see the three of pentacles, reversed. He has a trade, possibly as a cover, and is seen by others as mediocre at this trade. As a hope, or a motive, we get the ace of pentacles, which is an opportunity or a sum of money collected at once. The nine of swords comes up as the final outcome, which is a card of imprisonment.

I do not actually see a death, or a violent death, in this reading. The nine of swords is very troubling, however; because of it's position as the final outcome. The pentacles in this reading point us north, and the Tower, as a physical feature of landmark, is a dilapidated building or house. If Cody is deceased, he was held against his will somewhere for quite while before it happened, yet it somehow seems as if he may still be alive, and falsely imprisoned somewhere.

Revisit Of Aliayah Lunsford

Aliayah Lunsford disappeared almost a year and a half ago, in West Virginia. Why hasn't she been found? I will go ahead and do an update for the earlier readings I have done in this case.

For the past, I drew the Page of Swords, the four of cups, and the Queen of Cups, reversed. This page represents spying, and messages given with ulterior motives. The four of cups would point west, and indicate outdoor locations with trees, streams, AND standing water, such as lakes or ponds. The Queen of Cups, when reversed, is a woman who is not trustworthy. The Page of Swords is a person younger than the Queen who knows her secrets, yet has not come forward.

For the present, I drew Death, The World, reversed, and Judgement, reversed. Death usually does not foretell death per se, but major changes. This is one of those rare instances when I feel that the message is straightforward. When the World appears reversed, it is usually telling of failure and inability to move, and I think this card is telling us that this child has not moved or changed location on the "physical plane" in a long time. Judgement reversed tells us that someone out there would rather take the secret of what happened to Aliayah to the grave, rather thann come clean.

For the future, I drew the Moon, The Tower, and tpf pentacles, reversed. The Moon is deception and paranoia. At some point, information about Aliayah's disappearance could become ammunition of sorts against someone, or blackmail fodder. In the reversals described by the Tower, however; such fodder may become obsolete or ineffective......the reversed ace of pentacles shows that someone who formerly had something to lose by revealing the Queen of Cups's secret may find him or herself in a different position, without as much to lose, or without anything to lose by telling the truth. Also with the Tower comes different power hierachies. A new prosecuting attorney or a new sheriff may make a difference in the future.

My original reading for Aliayah Lunsford is here.

Garnell Monroe Moore

Missing Since: August 2002 from Baltimore, Maryland
Classification: Endangered Missing
Date of Birth: May 18, 1995
Age: 7 years old

Garnell Monroe Moore was last seen in 2002, but as he often lived with different relatives, everyone thought he was with someone else until 2005, when he was finally reported missing. Here is a reading about him.

This reading starts with the Chariot crossed by the Empress. The chariot generally represents the balencing of opposite forces to move productively of the physical plane in one direction. That is why cars and other modes of transportation are often indicated by this card. Here it is crossed by the Empress, which is the "mother" card of the tarot. so we have efficient movement either by, to, or away from the natural mother. This is founded by the three of cups, which is often and ending to something that should have been happy, and sometimes a card of overindulgence.....often in alcohol or drugs. An event in the past is the Page of Wands, who is an active and verbal child; possibly Garnell. The realm of possibilities is represented by the seven of cups, which is telling us that too many choices have been offered here. Since the only choices that have been offered are possibilities as to what happened to Garnell, it can be safely surmised that someone has deliberately offered too many choices, in an attempt to deceive and to keep Garnell from being found. Who would do this? The next card says it was the Queen of Wands, reversed. This woman is jealous, loves to fight and argue, and scares people with her forcefulness. No one wants to stand up to her.

We find the Knight of Pentacles in the place of fears. This is a man who is quiet, but who will not let the memory of Garnell go. He is someone who is an adult, yet under the age forty-five, who really wants to know what happened to Garnell. For environment, we get the five of swords, reversed. There is an element of "vengence" or "revenge" at play, the the reversed Queen of Wands would be well advised to understand this. Not everyone is buying her story. The nine of swords, reversed, comes up in the place of hopes and fears, and the message there is simple: someone is worried about going to prison for this. One of the meanings of this card, especially reversed, is imprisonment. The final card is the King of Swords, reversed, who is not pleased with the reversed Queen of Wands, whom we met earlier. As soon as enough evidence is gathered, the Queen can expect the judical system to deal harshly with her. Sadly, I think the reversed three of cups tells us what happened to Garnell. I think he accidently ingested too much of a medicine, such as a cough syrup, or died from some sort of neglect.

Lisa Stebic

Lisa Stebic has been missing since April 30 of 2007. That's a long time to be gone without a trace, so today I will see what the Tarot has to say. My question is: what happened to Lisa, and where is she? The reading begins with the two of swords, reversed, crossed by the Devil. The apparent message here is one of energies scattered in the wrong directions, crossed by passion, very likely lustful passion. Beneath this, we have the ten of cups, reversed. When this card falls upright, it tells of happy homes and loving families, but reversed, the message is the opposite. So unhappiness in the home is part of the equation. Next, we have the Fool, which is opportunity, but opportunity for what? The six of wands, reversed, follows this; and in this position, it usually means a bit of officially delivered bad news. So the opportunity was to deliver or receive some unwanted news or an unwanted notice? The next card is the five of pentacles. This sometimes tells of lovers not having a place to meet......but more often, it tells of material troubles and loss. The card falls reversed, so it's meaning is more that financial matters suddenly became less important than personal matters immediately before Lisa Stebic disappeared. Back to the Devil; he represents matter over spirit, or passion taking precedence over love and common sense, and I think his presence in this reads augers a fit of rage on the part of someone.

In the place of fears, we have the Magician. This is fear, on the part of someone, that evidence that can be used to prosecute a crime has been left somewhere. Not only do I refer to DNA evidence, but I also refer to the ability to put together a scenario, talk to any and all witnesses, and present the whole story in court and win a case. There is a strong possiblity of this, and it has the perpetrator worried. Following this, in the place of environment, we have the World, reversed. Somehow, Lisa is not in a place where she can be readily found, and the case may proceed without her. This refers to the general stall, or very slow movement of the case. The next card is strength, in the place of hopes, which tells us that investigators have not given up. The last card is the Star, reversed, which is a pessimistic card when coming up reversed. Any suspect here will be stubborn. There is evidence, though.

To venture a guess, the Devil's appearance makes me wonder if Lisa was shot, and the five of pentacles makes me wonder if it happened, or of she was taken, five miles away from home. The card would point north if upright, but reversed, it could either point the opposite direction; or the same direction, but in a more roundabout way and with obstacles. I wish the reading could have told of more positives things.

What Happened To Christina Whittaker?

Christina Whittaker was last seen in Missouri on November 13, 2009. Police found no evidence of foul play at the time, but she is still missing. Friends and family insist that Christina would never leave her child, so I am going to see what the Tarot has to say. This begins with the Devil, which is a card of bondage and speaks to an opportunity for bad things to happen. It is crossed by the King of Wands. I would expect him to be a man who has his path in life established already, and he may be a father. Somehow, he was involved in Christina's life. Beneaeth this, we have the five of wands, which is a card of games and often, of deceit. The perpetrator may have posed as a volunteer in efforts to find Christina. In the past, but before Christina disappeared, we have the three of swords, reversed, telling us that someone felt "wronged" somehow, and wanted revenge! Could Christina have been stalked? Following up this idea, the moon, reversed appears. This card does, indeed, tell us that Christina had a secret enemy. The moon reversed often refers to deceptions and lies. Next, the two of cups appears, reversed. This speaks to a broken partnership, often romantic. Did Christina have an obcessed admirer? It is beginning to look that way.

The seven of swords comes up reversed in the place of fears, and when this card appears reversed, it means competence and ability, and I believe this means that the perpetrator has already found an attorney. The Wheel of Fortune comes up in the place of environment, actually backing up the idea that the perpetrator has legal counsel.......he "feels very lucky". The next card is Temperance, in the place of hopes. In a perversed way, someone is hoping that things will remain "tempered", and that the boat will not be rocked. The last card is the two of swords. Right now, things are stalemated in terms of finding Christina.

A lot of sword cards came up here, pointing us east as a possible location. But then, we also have a reversed cups card, and cups and water represent west. It's possible that Christina is "seven" to the east, but water somehow brought her closer to where she was. I do not think she is very far from home.

More Questions About Skylar Neese

There have been more questions about Skylar Neese, and I have intended for quite a while to come back to her case if she was not found by now. Skylar was reported missing in early July of this year, and has not been seen since. I will try to focus on what has transpired with Skylar, personally, since July 7, and try to hone in on possible whereabouts. Keep in mind that I cannot get a name or an address from the Tarot, just descriptions.

Focusing on the past for just a moment, I asked about what Skylar did that helped to create the situation in the first place. The three cards I drew are the eight of cups, reversed, the Devil, reversed, and the seven of swords. Reversed, the eight of cups tells of celebrations and parties, but with an element of the spiritual abandoned in favor of physical pleasure. Brought down to earth, I would say this card is telling us that Skylar met someone who wanted to take advantage of her in some way, but did not actually care about her. The Devil reversed is telling us that Skylar was too slow to make an important decision. This is followed by the seven of swords, which speaks of someone attempting to take something that does not belong to him. An unjust advantage was taken of Skylar.

The seven of wands is our first card describing the present. Once again, this card is a caution against indecision. There are also elements of anxiety and embarrassment connected to this card. The Hermit, reversed, appears next. Reversed, he represents immaturity and foolishness. As a person, he would be an older but immature man, probably old enough to be Skylars father, but the proverbial "perpetual peter pan". Our next card is the two of swords, reversed. This is the release of formerly stalemated energies, but not always in the proper direction. I believe something happened to Skylar that involved an immature older man.

The future gave us the two of cups, the Star, reversed, and Justice. The two of cups is a good card to describe a partnership. I sincerely hope that is what it means here. I will have to say, though; that I do not like the Star coming up reversed, as it augers disappointment. For a location, the two of cups would point west. The reversed Star would warn that Skylar "cannot see the stars" from where she is. The Hermit is a north-pointing card, but he is reversed. I still think Skylar is somewhere within an eight to twelve mile radius of where she was last seen. The last card is Justice, and while Justice is a good thing, I am still praying that we find Skylar alive before we get Justice for her.
