Dylan Redwine Update

As promised, here is an update to the last reading I posted on this blog, which was about Dylan Redwine, who disappeared on either November 18 or November 19 while visiting his father in Colorado.

Three cards I drew for the past are the seven of pentacles, the five of pentacles, reversed, and the four of swords, also reversed. Earth and air are reperesented, here; the seven of pentacles has to do with working for something, but on more mundane levels, digging. The five of pentacles reversed speaks to renewed relationships. Perhaps this was the sincere part of the whole plan between Dylan and his father. But then we run into the four of swords, reversed. This card, when upright, speaks of matters that are at rest, or dormant. Reversed, it tells us that something that was dormant has been awakened.

For the present, I drew the ten of wands, reversed, the eight of wands, and the nine of cups. We have moved from earth and air to fire and water. When reversed, the ten of wands warns of lost lawsuits, separation, lies, and duplicity. So we have those things as possible motivation for Dylan's disappearance. The eight of wands speaks of impulse and infatuation, providing even more in the way of motive. And then we have the nine of cups. Somewhere, near or at a favored camping or picnicing spot of family member, either Dylan or critical clues can be found. Yes, water somehow played a role.

In the future, we have the Empress, or the mother, awaiting Dylan's return. We also have the seven of wands, reversed, telling us that Dylan is not in a safe place; this card also cautions her against any indecision or hesitance to take action in order to find him. The last card is the five of swords, reversed. This was done as a personal, angry, vengeful statement, but the person who did it will not get away with it. I am sensing a lot of urgency, on Dylan's part, to solve this quickly. I hope that means that he can be found safe, but at this point, I am worried.

Dylan Redwine

Dylan Redwine, of Colorado, was last seen a week ago, at his father's home near Durango, Colorado. He was supposed to visit his father for the Thanksgiving holiday. There is now a search in progress for him. My question is, what happened to Dylan, and where is he?

We start with the ten of cups, reversed, crossed by the four of wands. This gives a message of unhappiness in the home, crossed by some sort of happy event, or haven. Beneath this, we have the hierophant, who represents tradition. This could either be a minister, counselor, priest or mentor of some sort, whose guidance had helped Dylan in the past. Or it could be an institution representing tradition, such as a church or a school that had a positive effect on Dylan. Either way, it was something Dylan wanted back. Also in the past, we have the Page of Wands, which is usually a message of some kind, but in this reading, I think it represents Dylan. I also think something he had tried to tell others in his situation was not properly heard. The next card, in the place of things that have not yet come to pass, is the Empress, which is the "mother" card in the Tarot. She is also the very best result here, and the very best person for Dylan right now. The next card, in the place of things that either will happen or are happening, is Judgement, reversed, which tells of separation and fear. Sometimes it even speaks of fear of death. There is something outside of Dylan's control right now, separating him from where he wants to be, and from where he is safe. I do not believe he ran away.

In the place of fears, we find this reinforced by the two of wands, reversed, telling us of betrayals, fear, domination, and the fear of being overpowered. In the place of environment, we find the Moon, which, in this reading, speaks of things hidden or disguised, and of deception. Wherever Dylan is, he is hidden, and I think water is somehow part of the picture. For a direction, this card points us west. The eight of cups, reversed, is in the place of Dylan's hopes; this tells me that if Dylan could reverse the choice he made that got him into this situation, he would do so. And then we have the Page of Swords, as the final outcome, as another young person who is watching everyone search. For good or for ill, this person knows where Dylan is, yet has not come forward. His numeric value is eleven, and his direction would be east. Swords occasionally tells us of cyber communications.

My sense of this is that Dylan is alive.......I sincerely hope I am right. I will keep praying for his safe return, and I will come back to this if he is not home within a few days.

Who Murdered Jersey Bridgeman?

Six year old Jersey Bridgeman, of Arkansas, was found murdered several days ago in house in Bentonville. There are no suspects in custody as I write this, and I will see what the cards have to say about how this happened. I asked about who and why. The reading begins with the Queen of Wands crossed by the nine of pentacles. This is a woman who would have enjoyed bringing Jersey up, and had a lot to offer her, but was somehow prevented, or blocked, from doing anything for her. The nine of pentacles, in this case, represents what was never allowed to materialize for Jersey.

Beneath this, we have the five of swords, which is a card of extreme anger and revenge. Somehow, a person responisible for Jersey felt personal resentment toward her, and one of the reasons is revealed in the next card, which is the three of pentacles, reversed. There was a sense that having a child that age was an obstacle to employment opportunties, and to resources in general. Death, reversed, represents stagnation, and unchanging circumstances. It also tells us that this child was always in a certain amount of danger. The next card is the three of wands, reversed. Whoever killed this little girl had an accomplice, as this card speaks of assistance and help, but reversed, the help is untrustworthy. It looks to me as if one party to Jersey's murder will betray the other. Another meaning we get from this card when it falls reversed is physical suffering and domination of a victim. Sadly, abuse played a role in this child's death.

The Page of Swords appears in the place of fears. This is someone who has already given false testimony to law enforcement, while knowing exactly what happened. It is also one accomplice who scares the other accomplice very much. In the place of environment, we get the four of wands, reversed. This is usually a card of celebration, sometimes family celebration. Reversed, the meaning does not really change that much, except that it sometimes means celebrations cut short, or happiness, but not perfect. This describes a life cut short, and speaks to Jersey's innocence. It also hints at the home and family environment where she was found, even though the home was empty. Following this, in the place of hopes, we have The High Priestess, reversed. This gives a feminine aura to the situation, and tells us that Jersey was hoping for maternal assistance that never came, hence the reversal. And the final card is the Queen of Swords, reversed. This a an intolerant, angry woman who shares responsibility in Jersey's fate.

Ethan Hunter Bennett

Ethan Hunter Bennett disappeared from Indiana on September eleven, when his parents were out of town. Since then, no one has seen him. So the question I posed is, "what happened to Ethan, and why hasn't anyone heard from him?" We start with the Knight of Cups crossed by the eight of swords. The Knight of Cups is a young man, sentimental and very likely, romantic, and he is between the ages of nineteen and about thirty, in this case. I am thinking that this may represent Ethan. Whatever he was attempting to do before he disappeared, his heart was in the right place, and he had no idea that anyone would ever have to look for him. The eight of swords is a card of crisis followed by entrapment. Leading up to this, we have the Lovers, reversed. This tells us that Ethan had recently made a choice to end a partnership of some sort. Often, this card speaks to a romantic partnership, but not always. The eight of cups, (the second "eight" to appear in this reading) also appears in Ethan's recent past, and this card also speaks to a situation of "changing one's mind" after aquiring or acheiving something. So.....a change of heart was a major factor in this situation. In future possibilities, we find the seven of wands, which speaks of "defending one's own", as in ones's own family or property. This may mean that either Ethan, or proper clues to what happened to him, can only be found on private property somewhere, for which law enforcement will need a search warrent. The Magician reversed appears in the place of what is, or will be. I do not like to see this card here, because it clearly means that power was used for destructive ends.

In  the place of fears, we find Justice, reversed. As this case drags on, people close to Ethan are beginning to feel that it may never be solved. The Knight of Swords is in the environment, somehow; and when I first noticed this card, I thought it might represent violence done to Ethan, but now that I look harder, I think it is law enforcement. It tells me that there is at least one police officer who is very determined to see Ethan found. The four of swords comes up in the place of hopes. In this reading, it confers two messages; first, it tells us to be patient because elements of this matter cannot be rushed and things WILL become known at the right time; second, it shows a hope that Ethan will be found safe. Sadly, the reversed Magician had some very destructive designs concerning Ethan, but I will have hope. The last card is the Page of Cups, reversed. This is the card of the amateur, or the inexperienced. It also betrays deception by way of coverup. This points to someone involved enough in Ethan's circumstances to "cover" for someone. To sum up, it looks as if the answers primarily rest with a violent male, and rest secondarily with a deceptive female.

Lauren Spierer

Lauren Spierer was last seen on June 3, 2011 in Indiana. There was a request in comments from another post for a reading for her, so I will see what I can find out from the cards.

We start with the Magician reversed crossed by the ace of swords. That is interesting. The Magician upside down means an abuse of skill and power, and the ace of swords is a card of strength and often force, both in love and hate. This suggests that Lauren had an enemy, but no one has suggested that she was ever involved in anything that would bring such drastic conflicts into her life. Beneath this, we have the Page of Wands. This is activity before Lauren disappeared. The card points us south, and suggests that she had some sort of communication with whomever last saw her, prior to going missing. The next card to tell us of past events is Death. I do not like to see this here, even though the card usually does not refer to physical death. It tells us that things changed completely for Lauren on that day.

The next card, representing things that have not yet been explained, is the Knight of Pentacles. He is a young man between the ages of nineteen and forty (probably on the younger end of the spectrum) who has information of value. As he falls upright, I am not sure it is time to call him a suspect or determine that he is a foe. He could be the driver of a utility vehicle or an otherwise slow moving truck. The next card we have is the Page of Swords, which is a card of spying and sometimes, of troublemaking. There IS information concerning this that could come to light or be made public, but it will be done in a meanspirited, rather manipulative way.

In the place of fears, we have the Queen of Wands reversed. This almost always speaks to jealousy on the part of a woman. In this woman's environment, we have the six of cups, which paints a picture of a family environment for her, with children. In the place of this woman's hopes, we find the Knight of Wands, who is probably her partner and the father of the children indicated on the six of cups. And then, for the final outcome, we see the ten of swords. This does not bode well for Lauren, as the ten of swords is a card of endings, often violent endings. The situation indicated by this reading indicates that Lauren may have been targeted by a jealous woman.

What Happened To Robert Farris?

Robert Farris has been missing since September 5, 2012. He was last seen in Prairie Village Kansas, and Missouri police have an open missing persons report for him. As he is an adult, he may not wish to be found, but someone asked me to do a reading. His picture is to the left, and here is the reading.

The reading begins with the Page of Pentacles crossed by the King of Pentacles. Both of these cards point north. The page, in this case, is a message of a communique of some sort, and the king is a man over the age of forty. It looks very much as if Robert was looking for work, and answered an adverstisement for same. Beneath this, we have the three of swords, reversed. This card represents disputes and in-fighting within a family or community, and often divorces and custody battles. Something of this nature influenced Robert's recent past. Something else in Robert's past is Temperance, and this refers to his state of mind at the time he disappeared. There was no intention on his part to mislead anyone, hide, or otherwise drop off the grid. The best that may come out of this situation is the ace of pentacles, which can mean a couple of things. This card represents that which has not yet materialized; and it can either be a work opportunity or money obtained some other way. The appearance of this card makes me a little nervous in this position.......insurance? Something that will happen in the future is the nine of pentacles, This card generally describes financial independence. How does a missing man bring financial independence to anyone? But it could also tell us that he will come home on his own.........Once again, the direction is north. "Nine" to the north.

In the place of fears, we have the Fool, reversed, which speaks plainly of bad choices. This is followed up by the Devil in the place of environment. In this position, it is a card of violence and force. I do not like it's appearance here. Next, we have the ace of swords, reversed. Reversed or upright, this card represents great energy and power, but reversed, the message of violence is once again reinforced here. The reading ends with the Tower, reversed. The is another card of oppression and violence, but as it falls reversed, it tells of these things to a lesser degree, and it is also a card of imprisonment.

I will update this is he is not located soon.

How Can Sierra Lamar Be Found?

As a bit of an update to the readings I have done for Sierra Lamar, I decided to ask the Tarot how she can be found. Unfortunately, this case is dragging. I drew three cards for the past here, and those are the two of pentacles, which speak of difficulties with new projects, the Knight of Pentacles, reversed....an olive complected male with dark hair and eyes; I believe this is the suspect who has been charged, and the eight of pentalces, reversed. Either the suspect's former workmates need to be questioned one more time, or the premises of the suspect's former job, and the surrounding areas, need to be searched again.

For the present, I drew the Queen of Wands, who has shown up in earlier readings about Sierra, the King of Wands reversed, and the six of cups reversed. The Queen here is a woman who probably has blond or strawberry blond hair and is working hard to find Sierra. The reversed King is a man who's efforts are countering her efforts, and effectively stalling her. The six of cups reversed represents outworn ideas for solving cases like this, that have worked in the past, but will not work now. The King of Wands is not allowing the Queen to use her instincts to get at the truth.

In the future, we get the seven of swords, reversed; the six of pentacles, reversed, and the five of wands. The seven of swords reversed speaks to good legal counsel, but it is somehow met with the bad debts or unfair dealings represented by the reversed six of pentacles. The last card is the five of wands, which tells of more contradictions and games. It looks very much to me as if the suspect's former place of employment, or his former workmates, could yield the answers.

Dede Spicher Won't Answer Question About Kyron Horman

As a bit of an update to the readings I have done for Kyron Horman, I am going to do a reading about a witness by the name of Dede Spicher, who was recently deposed by Eldon Rosenthal, the attorney who represents Kyron's mother in a civil lawsuit she filed to find answers to her son's missing persons case. The question I have concerning this is, "why did Dede Spicher assert her right to remain silent so much?"

The reading starts off with the five of pentacles, reversed, crossed by the six of swords. This is curious. The five of pentacles reversed speaks of the return of old friends or relatives, and the six of swords means travel, often from one state or country to another. As the six of swords crosses the five of pentacles, we can take it to mean that this "return" has not yet taken place. The appearance of the six does refer to the distinct possiblity, however; and is part of the answer to my question about why Dede Spicher will not testify: she is trying NOT to reveal Kyron's whereabouts! This is based by the Moon, which sometimes means psychic or mystic abilities, but also often means lying and dishonesty. I think we may opt for the latter in this case. Behind this, we have the four of pentacles, telling us that something of value, in this case, information, has indeed been held back. The Queen of cups appears as someone from whom we have not yet heard, and as she falls reversed, we cannot expect the truth from her when it is her turn to speak. The Chariot reversed tells us that Dede considers her refusal to answer questions a bit if a "victory" that she has won by unethical means. There is a sense here that she, personally, has been somehow wronged by the person she is hurting. This is a bit twisted...............This will stall on her, though. I do not believe she will get away with refusing to cooperate indefinately.

The first card on the staff is the Sun, reversed. This can be victory, but not complete, or clouded joy; and it can also mean testimony, but not the complete truth. I think Eldon Rosenthal, who represents Kyron's mother, is very aware that he has not been told the complete truth in all of the depositions he has conducted so far, and understands how he needs to proceed in order to find the truth. This is followed up well by the seven of cups, reversed, in the plae of environment. Upright, this is a card of dreams and delusions, but reversed, it is a card of understanding and competence. We find Death in the place of hopes and fears. While there is an outside chance that the card could be speaking to us at face value, this is unusual in a reading. While I do think that the questions being asked of witnesses, Dede Spicher included, are ever vigilant to determine if Kyron is alive or not, I think that this is a fear of many other things on Dede's part. I also think it represents the solid fact that Dede actually DOES have valuable testimony. Directionally, this card points north. The reading ends with the four of wands, which is a strange card to answer the question I asked! The four of wands is a card of balence, and happy, well balenced relationships. This would tell us that Dede Spicher finally tells us what we need to know, and it tells of home and refuge.
