Misty Copsey

32 years later, disappearance of 14-year-old Misty Copsey remains a mystery – KIRO 7 News Seattle

Misty D. Copsey was last seen in Tacoma, Washington on the evening of September 17, 1992, when she was fourteen years old. She and a friend had expected a ride home from a fair, but the person offering the ride was unable to show up. Later, Misty's friend walked home, but Misty attempted to take a bus. She missed the last bus she could have taken, and the last time she was seen was when she was walking away from a bus that was unable to take her home. It was at 9:20 PM. Some of her personal effects were found in February of the following year, but Misty has not been seen since.

I was asked about this recently, and I decided to do a horoscope layout for this website about Misty. Horoscope layouts, while not as quick and to the point, offer a bit more information.

The first house, of the of the situation, itself, gives us the nine of pentacles, reversed. When upside right, this is a card of independence and the ability to manage alone, but upside down, it means the exact opposite. It also hints as attacks from thieves. Misty definitely met someone who took advantage of her. The second house, of possessions and desires, shows the Queen of Pentacles, reversed. I am not convinced, at this point, that the Queen of Pentacles is a person, but I think she represents a missed opportunity; the bus Misty missed. It represents Misty's inability to return home, which was Misty's hope, at that moment. The third house, of communication and short journeys, yields the Queen of Wands, upside right. This is a woman who is kindly disposed toward Misty, and I think it is the last person Misty called, before she disappeared; it is most likely her mother.

The fourth house, of the environment of the matter, yields the five of cups. This is a card of disappointment. Logic dictates that it would be the disappointment of not finding Misty, but I also think it represents the loss of a friendship right before Misty disappeared. There is often something left over, with this card, and I think another search of the same area where Misty walked away from the last bus would yield more clues or evidence.

Next, we have the Empress, reversed, in the the fifth house of creativity and speculations. When the Empress falls reversed, it is often a woman who does not use resources properly or a message about ineffective use of resources, in general. Not to be harsh to law enforcement or first responders, but I do not think the best efforts where made to find Misty. In the sixth house, inconveniences and problems are highlighted by the ace of cups, reversed. The sixth house also represents known enemies (unknown enemies are represented by the twelfth house) and ace of cups here concerns me. Upside right, this card would indicate new beginnings and happy plans, but upside down it speaks of false starts, especially concerning affairs of the heart. I think she rebuffed an overly friendly advance from someone.

We have Justice in the seventh house of partnerships. This is a good sign for resolution of the case. I think that at some point in the near future, someone will look at this case with fresh eyes and the elimination of the wrong ideas that derailed the case in the past. The seventh house is also about partnerships, and I think different law enforcement departments will start listening to each other, as well. The eighth house represents the resources of the partners of the seventh house, and here, we find yet another reference to resources! We have the four of pentacles, reversed. I think time and other resources were withheld in the past, but will be granted in the future. This card also speaks of waste, however; so I think law enforcement needs to be aware of the possibility of false tips given deliberately.

In the ninth house, of long term goals and ideals, we have the nine of wands, reversed. This speaks to obstacles and a warning to be thorough. Judgement shows up reversed in the tenth house, of public affairs. When upside right, Judgement often signals a renewal, so finding it reversed here tells me that a lack of new information is going to be problematic. We find the King of Cups in the eleventh house of organizations; and I think this is a man in a profession related to law enforcement or science, who is kindly disposed toward Misty and willing to lend his skills to help with her case. The last card, in the twelfth house of secret enemies and death, is the Wheel of Fortune, reversed. I am sad to see this here. I, unfortunately, do not expect Misty to be found alive. I do believe that there is a strong chance for justice if investigators are able to look at Misty's case with new eyes and search again in some of the places where she was last seen.

Unique Harris

Unique Harris disappeared right inside her house, seemingly into thin air. Her children woke up one morning and were unable to find her. The only things that disappeared with her are her cell phone and keys. So where is she, and what happened?

This reading begins with the four of pentacles, reversed, which sets a tone of wasted resources, crossed by The Last Judgment. Events were set in motion by someone who didn't want to wisely manage money and material resources, and no chance of renewal of relationships or lost friendship and the conveniences that accompanied the friendship. Founding this, we find the World, with all of it's freedoms and opportunities. And bringing the whole situation down to earth, someone involved here took advantage of that.......a new place to live, and new opportunities. This is reiterated by the appearance of the eight of cups, telling us that Unique had recently discarded a lifestyle and direction she to which she had formerly committed. Something that never materialized, but was in the picture as a possibility, is the King of Pentacles. This is a man who had material resources and a mature, helpful outlook to offer. He was also kindly disposed toward Unique, as he falls upright in this reading. Next, we find the Hermit, which is a card of spiritual and physical searching. Unique was searching for a new direction in life, and that is what prompted her disappearance.

The staff is the part of this reading that bothers me, as it describes other individuals, and motive. In the place of fears and plans, we find the seven of pentacles. This card tells of waiting for a harvest, but here, I think it answers my question concerning what happened as "lying in wait". Someone was lying in wait for Unique, waiting for the most convenient moment to confront her. The Hermit, who appeared earlier, also suggests this. It is followed by the none of pentacles, which gives us a motive: the nine of pentacles is interpreted as financial independence, and whether Unique was actually independent or not, her potential independence was seen as a threat by someone. Also, at face value, these cards are both pentacles, which are associated with the element of Earth, and both of these cards suggest gardens and digging. I do not like them coming up in the positions they have taken in this reading, one right after the other! The six of wands appears next, and this card usually tells of successful communication and messaging....I think she got a call on her cell phone and stepped outside to talk. I think this provided the opportunity for someone to grab her. The final card in this reading is the Empress, which says quite a bit. First, it gives us insight into the fact that a woman is a big part of this picture, possibly the instigator. It also tells us about this woman's relationship to the Hermit, who is a man who is involved, but was closer to the action. Look for her to be "old enough to be his mother". Next, motherhood, and the business thereof, was, at least in part, the motive. Yet, had Unique received any challenges to custody of her young children?

These are the clues given by this reading: more than one person, with a woman calling the shots, digging, gardens, and earth. Pentacles and earth also point north, as does the Hermit, but the four of pentacles is upside down, so perhaps north is merely the direction traveled by the perpetrator. The six of wands also tells us that this crime was premeditated.

Phoenix Coldon

Phoenix Coldon, twenty-three, disappeared in St. Louis, Missouri, in December of 2011. Disappointingly, there has not been a lot of media coverage for her, so I will do a reading.

Immediately, I see a conflict of sorts between an older man with a fatherly interest in Phoenix and a younger, less experienced, more romantic man. The reading gave me the Knight of Cups crossed by the Emperor as a start. These have both played roles in Phoenix's life; and I believe the Emperor is her father. There is a background of childish or unrealistic expectations here, meeting stern reality, shown by the six of cups founding this matter. This father also has always seen more possibilities for his daughter, and wanted better for her. This is what his perspective has always been.

The four of pentacles appears as a recently passed event. This card, reversed, represents material setbacks. It also tells us that key information was given "a day late and a dollar short". The event that this information would describe is represented by the Knight of Swords. This knight can either be a person, message, or an event, and in this position, it appears to be an event. Sadly, the Knight of Swords is all about force and destruction. But how would such elements have come into Phoenix's life? Something that was becoming important to Phoenix at the time she disappeared is the ace of wands, which is a new adventure or enterprise. She either had an opportunity, or had been offered an opportunity, that somehow threatened a young man in her surroundings. The description, so far in the reading, is of a young man who felt that her emotional and material investments should be in him, or in things that were close to that with which he is familiar.

The Page of Pentacles appears in the place of fears. This is a dark haired, dark eyed girl or boy, and often a scholarship. In this position, I think it could be both. This represents Phoenix. Next, we have the nine of swords, reversed. This is a card of imprisonment, coming up in the place of environment, and refers to the place she was hidden, and the feelings of the perpetrator. The card would point ever so slightly to the east, as it is reversed, and perhaps speak of places that are desolate, abandoned, and not often frequented. The Queen of Pentacles appears in the place of hopes, and I think this is a woman connected to Phoenix who is hoping to find her. The sad final outcome here, is Justice, reversed. Not only does this illustrate the ineffective manner in which the media has publicized this case, and the fact that Pjhoenix has not been found, it also tells us that what has happened here was not the natural way of Phoenix's path, and that she was actually meant to take advantage of the opportunities life offered her.
